I started my Pokédex project in the summer of 2010. I’m an art student, but when I’m not working on a school project I rarely pick up a pencil. To keep myself practicing all summer I decided that I would draw something every day. Previous attempts to do this in the past have failed because I couldn’t think of something, so after noticing dailypokedex I decided that I would draw all the Pokémon in order.
However, my drawings are simple sketches copied from my guidebook. I accompany these unexciting sketches with art and images from around the web, as well as a Pokédex entry.
Feel free to submit something or ask a question. I do not take requests because I’m going in order, and if you submit something that isn’t up yet I’ll just hang onto it until that Pokémon comes around.
Finally, since I’m a university student I don’t always have the time to sit down and manage this blog on a daily basis. There will be times when my posting is far and few between, but I will always be back :)
